TULSA is a historical drama that fictionalizes the events that led up to the Tulsa Race Riots of 1921. It is a thirty minute one act that examines gender, race, class, and religion and their role in the sexual assault allegations that incite a racist massacre.
Cigarettes, Love, and Rent is a full-length play that explores the effects of gentrification on a group of friends in San Francisco as they navigate love, responsibility, and the second coming of age of their 20's. It is written in modern sonnets and modified verse.
Heartbreak Tales From a Godless Rapture is a poetic manuscript that melds the anxieties of heartbreak, family dysfunction, and climate change into one big mush of dystopic verse.
